This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media as an Apprenticeship Quality Manager as we are increasing the number and types of apprenticeships within Virgin Media, so you'll get the chance to design and oversee all of our apprentice quality processes to support with Virgin Media’s employer-provider status.
In essence this role is responsible for the effective design and quality management of all apprenticeships that we deliver internally as an employer-provider. Your duties will be wide ranging, but ultimately you will be responsible for:

* Designing and managing all apprenticeship quality processes.
* Ensuring quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted/ESFA/Awarding bodies and other funding organisations.
* Completing self-assessment reports and leading on quality improvement planning.
* Reviewing and advising on all quality and learning activities required by the Government.
* Supporting in the effective delivery of the Apprenticeship Programme by working closely with relevant L&D academies to implement effective solutions.
* Leading all standardization meetings, ensuring a high quality assurance process for all teaching, learning and assessment.
* Producing regular reports and insight on quality performance across all apprenticeship schemes.
* Supporting the Early Careers Lead by ensuring all apprenticeship related assessment and internal quality assurance follows central policies and procedures.
* Keeping all apprenticeship process, practice and policy documentation up to date and quality assured.
* Driving trailblazer standards and end point assessments.
* Acting as the SmartAssessor Champion for Virgin Media to monitor activity and ensure both assessors and apprentices fully utilise the SmartAssessor tool.
* Supporting the interpretation and translation of requirements of new apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessments (EPA) for internal delivery into relevant workplace activities to ensure quality assured.
* Supporting the Apprenticeship Manager with external provider service reviews.

* Acting as the subject matter expert for Apprenticeship Quality standards, keeping up to date with the latest trends.
Everyone in our People Team has a proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines. If you join us as an Apprenticeship Quality Manager we would want you to have:

* Related work experience in a similar quality role, ideally in a Telecoms environment.
* Proven subject matter expertise in apprenticeships with a strong delivery focus.
* Experience and knowledge of completing Ofsted/ESFA related activities (such as self-assessments and quality improvement plans).
* Good understanding of all apprenticeship funding.
* Qualified IQA Assessor.
* Excellent knowledge and experience of using the SmartAssessor tool.
* Experience managing quality processes to ensure high retention, success rates and consistency.
* Strong stakeholder management and customer oriented.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Flexibility with national travel.
