We are currently looking for a Supplier Specialist to work within the Resourcing team here at Virgin Media. This role will focus on the day to day management of frontline recruitment services delivered for Virgin Media Consumer Sales & Virgin Media Business (VMB) Sales by our outsourced RPO provider. Our frontline Sales channels are very much the face of our business so attracting quality candidates and providing a world-class recruitment experience is crucial to the future success of our business.
The Resourcing function sits within the Virgin Media’s People Team which is focused on helping the company achieve its growth ambitions through supporting a number of different people & organisational related initiatives. It’s not a nine-to-five, clock-in and tune out sort of place. And there’s no corporate mask to put on at the door - you can just be yourself. So, what’s involved?

* Working closely with the Resourcing Supplier Manager and the sales People community to further develop the relationship with the supplier and provide an overview of activity, highlights & challenges in the particular business areas
* Supporting & managing the supplier to deliver to the recruitment plans and processes to agreed targets. Constantly look at ways to improve the service offering that is delivered into Virgin Media
* Supporting the supplier to ensure their people are engaged, motivated and have the right tools to deliver a great experience to our managers
* Being a first point of escalation for service queries and improvement ideas. Work with the business & the supplier to resolve service escalations & promote best-practice
* Understanding the financial and service agreements (SLA’s) and ensure service is delivered in line with cost
* Understanding growth plans and headcount numbers for the frontline sales channels; ensure the supplier is aware of the overall strategy so that targets are met
* Attending meetings with Sales stakeholders to discuss recruitment activity, MI, processes and future initiatives
* Attending monthly, quarterly & annual supplier performance meetings, ensuring that all data is presented in a relevant and timely way, and adds value to our service offering
* Working on the continuous improvement of the service and the aid in enhancing the perception of Resourcing as a value-add function
* Getting involved in projects to enhance the value of the service for supplier, the business and candidates alike
Who are we looking for?

You’ll ideally be someone who puts the development of partnerships & stakeholder engagement at the heart of everything they do; the overriding objective being to strengthen and develop the relationship between the business and our suppliers to help ensure a brilliant service to our customers and candidates. In order to succeed and partner effectively, we are seeking someone who has in depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of strategic and tactical resourcing and exposure to or experience working for an outsourced provider in a volume recruitment environment.

Skills you need:

* Outstanding communication skills are a must as is experience in influencing stakeholders who can be challenging.
* You will have excellent prioritisation skills and be able to juggle conflicting priorities.
* Taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution is critical and encouraging the right behaviours amongst the stakeholder group is key to success.
* As the stakeholder group is spread across the country, UK wide travel is required so flexibility & a willingness to travel to aid the development of building relationships is key.
