We are currently looking for a Brand Experience Manager to join our team to help us champion the Virgin brand experience standards across an exciting mix of internal and external projects.

Role Purpose

You will be working with the Senior External Brand Experience Manager, as part of the Brand team within Brand and Marketing within our Consumer division

We are looking for someone who is;

A passionate brand ambassador who will deliver our business objective of transformational growth and bring the Virgin Media purpose of ‘building connections that really matter’, whilst living and breathing our brand values.

Someone with insatiable curiosity for upholding and identifying new opportunities for magic moments that are unique to our Virgin Media brand and make our people and customers smile, whilst driving a competitive advantage for our business.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent networking skills; this is required to work with people across multiple teams building a coherent, powerful brand experience that is loved by our people and customers. This will span brand engagement, brand integration and brand governance.

Key accountabilities

  • You will play a key role within the brand team to help manage and deliver multiple projects within Brand & Marketing an across other divisions.
  • You will be collaborative stakeholder management and engagement across the business with teams such as People, Internal Communications and Digital.
  • Bring brand and customer focused thinking to product innovation and in-life product management to drive brand engagement and NPS.
  • Manage key internal brand experience projects such as the on-going embedding of our brand purpose & values for our people
  • Identify and deliver magic brand experience moments to internal and external projects
  • Manage the implementation of brand standards and overall process of our brand guidelines & toolkits including creation and on-going updates, stakeholder management and distribution
  • Be the brand team representative in key business meetings with cross divisional colleagues
  • Supports senior brand experience manager in leading project workshops and briefing of work to brand studio and agencies
  • Maintains an up to date view of all internal and external customer touch points across the business
  • Identifies dependencies with other business initiatives / activities
  • Capture leanings and ongoing results – sharing lessons learnt from key projects across the     business

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree level education
  • Experience of a working in a brand experience environment
  • Excellent communication and networking skills to interact with peers, senior management, project stakeholders, and customers
  • Ability to forward think and react tactically where required
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with sometimes conflicting opinions
  • Comfortable stepping out of their official remit to provide direction whilst balancing stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent understanding of the marketing environment - with a focus on product/service market positioning & customer comms
  • Solid understanding of commercial and front-line environments
  • Experience of working in a B2C environment
  • Experience of working on internal brand experience

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Managed the implementation of a rebrand across marketing platforms Telecomms / Media / Technology
  • Experience working with creative teams
  • Experience in leading workshops
  • Experience in service design
  • Experience in brand measurement
