What will you be doing?

As the Business Development Manager you will be identifying and internally structuring new business development opportunities for Virgin Media to partner with in order to expand our network into New Developments. You will be working with the top 15 UK housebuilders to automate site sign up’s and Group rebates whilst taking a lead role to grow existing relationships and develop these into deliverable agreements that support growth.

It will be down to you to liaise with our legal, governance and finance teams to structure and deliver group developer framework agreements for in year, and multi-year build programmes. You will be targeting and building partnerships with National & Regional commercial developers, asset owners and other influencers.

Are you right for the role?

So it’s the moment of truth, right? What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

  • Experience in a Tier 1 Telco or Cable Operator running large operation
  • Experience of working with local authorities and non-governmental organizations
  • Track record of executing against strategy and tactical plans
  • Must have strong oral, presentation & written communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of cable networks and technology, with business product knowledge desirable
  • Must be able to operate within strict timescales and meet deadlines, with the capacity to adapt to changing requirements as necessary
  • Ability to quickly trial ideas and develop new business models
  • Commercially astute
