Virgin Media is currently searching for a Future Careers Programme Specialist. This role forms part of the Future Careers Team which manages apprenticeships, interns and graduate programmes. The team consists of centralised subject matter experts, who support our wider people team and business leaders in the achievement of our business and people strategy.

What’s the purpose of this role?

The purpose of this role is to support all Future Career Programmes such as apprentices, interns and graduates strategic, operational and cyclical activity.Our Future Career Programmes are a strategic priority to ensure that we have an entry level and future career focused talent pipelines within the organisation.This role will work closely with the Graduate & Intern Manager, Apprentice Manager and Future Careers Lead, as well as with key stakeholders business wide, including People Business Partners, L&D, Reward, Employee Services, Business Sponsors and our recruitment suppliers to ensure the smooth running of our Virgin Media Future Careers Programmes.

What does the job entail?

In role of People Insight Manager you would be responsible for a number of key activities including a few of the following:• To project manage and support delivery of programme recruitment activity, working closely with recruitment suppliers and stakeholders to meet business needs.• To project manage and support delivery of all on programme activities with the team and business stakeholders, such as reward, induction, rotations, performance management and core development activities; ensuring a great employee experience.• To proactively research and support on all data requests to provide the required analytics, to support our strategic proposals and initiatives, and able to share using effective PowerPoint presentations.• To manage programme excel master tracker activity and analyse and report on data regularly to the Future Careers Lead and programme managers using PowerPoint presentations as appropriate.• Reporting on all programme activity inc. status, risks, action logs.

As the right candidate for the role of Future Careers Programme Specialist , you will be pro-active with plenty initiative communicator with good commercial acumen and will have some of the following:• Entry level programme experience (ideally graduates, apprentices)• Excellent planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail.• Strong analytical skills – intermediate level excel skills required• Proactive with a can do attitude and plenty of initiative, as well as a willingness to learn and get involved.• A flexible approach and ability to deal with change and ambiguity at times.• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to spot and deliver on opportunities for continuous improvement• Able to influence stakeholders on project plan timescales to ensure delivery to high standard
