Virgin Media is currently on the lookout for a Senior Field Change Manager within our customer field and support operations team. Reporting into the Head of Field Support you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a program of improvement and change through own delivery /or providing the delivery capability.

For this role you’ll need to have strong portfolio / project experience with an established track record of delivery.

The Senior Field Change Manager will also be line managing a team of approx. 10 Improvement Change Consultants who are responsible for improvements to the current processes / systems to drive better performance and customer efficiencies, ensuring the capability exists to successfully manage project deliverables that meet the quality, time and cost of requirements of the business.

You will be involved with the recruitment, development and performance management of these individuals in collaboration with business stakeholders. Another responsibility will be providing management information, analysis, reporting and governance to key stakeholders.

This role will be based at our Manchester offices in Wythenshawe.     Job Responsibilities:

• Manages all aspects of a portfolio of complex delivery projects for a specific function/division and/or Change led projects using SME knowledge to ensure that any change impacts are addressed• Manages and mitigates risks through identifying interdependencies, providing subject matter expertise to the business on continuous improvement, processes, working practices and standards and delivery methodologies and reviewing applicable resource• Develops improvement initiatives and plan to benefit the division, NPS, cost reduction, and people engagement , monitors the plan against milestones and targets and provides status updates to key stakeholders• Ensures the achievement and maintenance of appropriate recognised quality standards and governance processes are maintained and measured• Works closely with others to ensure strategic and proactive resource allocation across portfolios in line with company roadmap and pipeline requirements• Utilises and interprets key MI data and reports to conduct QA checks across delivery teams, ensuring key delivery standards are met using appropriate business tools• Owns the development of best practice across their professional area.  Manage successional needs of your people and wider field “stars”. Enablers in place within the team to identify and nurture talent

Other Key Requirements include:

• Expert interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to identify, drive and implement change initiatives• A thorough understanding of Lean operating systems and delivery methodologies• Significant experience of portfolio / project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment• Expert knowledge of resource planning and allocation for complex and large projects• Skilled in building cross function relationships and managing virtual teams. Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail• Demonstrates strong/clear leadership skills
