Quality Assurance Improvement Consultant

This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media Business as a Quality Assurance and Improvement Consultant. Our Quality Assurance and Improvement Consultant carry out activities that maintain the integrity of the Virgin Media Business Quality Management System (QMS) supporting the organisation’s continuing registration to ISO9001, ISO20000 and other certifications. Providing regular updates and feedback to ensure corrective actions are included and implemented as part of all improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
* Plan, manage and carry out internal audits; delivering clear reports against the internal audit programme in order to maintain compliance to ISO9001 and ISO20000.
* Document findings, presenting recommendations to operational areas maintaining an impartial and objective position using data and facts to support audit outcome. Alongside highlighting trends and opportunities to the business.
* Raising quality awareness and its relevance to business objectives at all levels. Driving associated improvement initiatives where appropriate, and supporting stakeholders in doing so within individual areas or projects.
* Supporting areas with resolution of non-compliances and quality issues to promote greater capability and facilitate continual improvement, using appropriate recognised tools and techniques.
* Complete reviews on any new processes, products or business areas that are implemented to ensure that effective change and risk management is in place in line with corporate Risk management.

* Someone that can effectively work with operational areas and improvement teams to identify opportunities and support implementation of continual improvement projects and initiatives, which enhance and develop the QMS capability.
* An explorer of new things and to change way we interact with our customers!
* Someone that is excited and comfortable analysing business processes and performing work analyses with knowledge of quality management principles, practices, tools and techniques. With an good understanding of Lean Sigma principles and where they enhance and support the QMS, along with the delivery processes and the services provided by Virgin Media Business.
* To be successful in this role you have the ability to analyse audit findings looking for trends and opportunities for improvement, be customer and quality focused with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
* An IRCA ISO9001 auditing qualification or proven experience in auditing against ISO9001 is essential but ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2, ISO14001 or ISO20000 or Practitioner Is advantageous.
