Who are our Sales Engineers?
They’re the people who shape the solutions to our customers’ business problems. They know sales inside out. But they’re not directly involved in selling. Instead, they spend their time trying to understand our clients’ needs and then finding technical solutions to match.
Build your expertise
Working alongside experienced team members, and with support from your scheme mentor, you’ll get stuck into all aspects of the job, from managing key stakeholders to leading technical sales discussions, from calculating costs to assessing risks. By the end of the scheme, you should have all the skills and knowledge you need to create transformational solutions for your customers’ businesses.
What we look for
Inquisitive, empathetic people who like asking questions, know how to listen and want to find out what makes customers tick. You must have a strong interest in technology. Some experience of sales would be useful too. You also need to combine a methodical approach with a willingness to be flexible when required.

Apprenticeship: IT Technical Sales Level 3
Duration: 18 months
Start date: October 2021
Requirements: 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (level 4-9) or a level 2 apprenticeship (or equivalent).
Salary: £19,000 + amazing benefits. After nine months, you can expect a salary increase to £22,000. On successful completion of the scheme, our apprentices typically move into roles with salaries of around £26,000-£28,000
