You might have guessed it, but Virgin Media Business is the business-to-business arm of Virgin Media, providing digital services to a whole host of businesses from SMEs to Enterprise right through to public sector organisations. Virgin Media Business has one platform, which represents everything we offer. At the core of our platform is our £13 billion network. It’s fast. It’s fibre optic. It’s nationwide. But our network is only as good as the products that connect to it. Which is why we place so much importance on our voice and data solutions and on the benefits of consolidated services. After that, there are all the applications and software that we curate to help our customers transform their organisations. And finally, wrapped around everything we do, is our customer service, which of course is dedicated and highly involved. So, there’s a lot more to business-to-business sales than meets the eye!

Our sales graduate scheme is designed to get your business sales career off to a blisteringly fast start! On this two-year scheme, you’ll rotate across our different sectors, which could include public sector, wholesale and/or enterprise. These rotations will give you the breadth of knowledge you’ll need to be able to successfully manage customer relations; you’ll get to grips with the products and services that we offer, and differing customer needs. With these skills you’ll be able to successfully profile customers and deliver impeccable bespoke services, all whilst building and maintaining fantastic relationships.

By the time we’ve finished with you, you’ll have outstanding solutions sales skills and will be able to call yourself an out and out B2B boffin! So, if you’re a sales superstar in waiting then this is the scheme for you. We’ll do absolutely everything to help you accelerate your career! As soon as you start the scheme you'll undergo your graduate induction; learning all about Virgin Media Business, then during week two and three, you'll get stuck into some sales specific training. But learning doesn't stop there! Throughout the scheme you'll get bags of mentoring and support.

Salary: £29K + £2K welcome bonus + commission + amazing benefits

Locations: Hook, Birmingham or Manchester (must be flexible regarding location)

 

What we want from you:

  • You’ll need a 2.1 or above in any discipline (achieved or expecting).
  • It’s essential that you’re adventurous and flexible about location as your placements may take you from our HQ in Hook to Manchester, with a few other offices in between!
  • You’ll need to be adaptable – we operate in a fast-paced digital marketplace where projects and direction can change quickly, so you’ll need to be comfortable with not always having all the answers.
  • Your personal drive will ensure that you’re pro-active and resilient enough to deal with whatever comes your way
  • You’ll also need bags of confidence with great communication and presentation skills
