Over two years, you’ll do four action-packed rotations across key areas of our business including Large Enterprise, Public Sector and SME. The placements we offer are tried and tested – and we’re constantly adding new ones to the mix. So, there are guaranteed to be lots of great opportunities for you to get your teeth into. Working with the UK’s largest corporate organisations? Supporting a £1 million+ public sector tender? Doing a deep dive into our key strategic partnerships in wholesale? On this scheme, you can do it all.

What’s it all about

In each of your four rotations, you will be supporting Virgin Media Business customers on their digital journey and doing everything you can to ensure we remain their business-to-business telecommunications provider of choice. Relationship-building is a key skill you will use from the outset, as you meet customers face to face, ensure we understand their requirements and advise them on the best solution for their organisation.

How are you going to get there?

We don’t expect you to know the ins and outs of telecoms straight away. So, we’ll provide you with specialist training throughout the scheme and also help you work towards an industry recognised qualification and become a sales superstar. Plus, you’ll be enjoying ongoing support from our most successful salespeople, technical engineers and commercial minds.

As always in sales, personality is crucial. Our sales teams work hard and have fun while they’re at it! That’s why we look for graduates who are confident, competitive, pro-active and resilient enough to face any challenge head on. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. And, with placements at our offices across the country, you’ll need to be flexible about your location as well. You must have a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline.

So, what can we do for you?

Then there’s the fantastic package we offer. Not only will you get £30k a year and a £2k welcome bonus – you’ll also earn an extra £5k commission if you hit your targets (which 75% of sales graduates do in their first year). As a top performer, you can win places at our no-expense-spared events as well, which could be anything from a 5-star sailing trip across the Solent to a private party in Edinburgh Castle.

And when you reach the end of the scheme? That’s when the fun really starts. There will be opportunities for you to work with customers across any of our key areas. And there’s the potential for you to almost double your earnings, with typical salaries ranging from £40k to £70k.
