That’s precisely why we call our Human Resources division, ‘People’! They’re the real leading stars – and, as part of our Virgin Media graduate scheme, you’ll learn how to manage the different roles they play at one of the UK’s most forward-thinking and fun-loving companies.
What’s it all about?
Our two-year graduate scheme gives you a fantastic opportunity to fast-track your HR career, as you rotate through various Business Partnering and Centre of Excellence teams, building up a complete understanding of the inner workings of our people function.
Along the way, you’ll gain exposure to areas such as Employee Relations, Resourcing and Reward. You’ll also learn the ins and outs of everything we’re responsible for, from attracting, developing and engaging our employees to giving people the skills and knowledge they need to become high-level managers.

How are you going to get there?
You need to be resilient, commercially driven and passionate about learning, as well as having exceptional communication and influencing skills. You also need to be interested in using data and insight to inform decision-making, as this will be crucial to shaping our People strategies in the future. And, as Virgin Media is constantly evolving, it’s vital that you’re able to take change in your stride and are open minded about your placement roles and locations.
A 2:1 degree or above is essential. This should be in a relevant subject such as Business and HR, Psychology or Human Resources Management, unless you have already done a placement of six months or longer within an HR department.

Our graduate scheme will give you an in-depth understanding of our company, our culture and the ways we work while also offering you lots of opportunities to start building your network – with different teams and stakeholders across our organisation and with our parent company, Liberty Global, as well.
To help you maximise your potential, we’ll provide you with a host of dedicated support throughout the scheme. We’ll even fund your study towards a CIPD qualification, to complement the skills and experience you’ll gain with us.

Salary: £30K + £2K welcome bonus + amazing benefits
