Critical to the Finance function, we are looking for a Finance Manager – Group Accounting to help us communicate the numbers to the wider business and beyond. It’s not just your job to report on the numbers however, you will have free reign to add real value to the way we do things through additional responsibilities and ad hoc project work.
As a Finance Manager for Virgin Media Ireland (VMIE), you will own the delivery of accurate and complete accounting information and reporting for the division, to be delivered in accordance with the group reporting timetable. This will involve effectively working with both onshore and outsourced accounting teams in order to deliver fully reviewed financial and management accounting information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Working as part of a wider People Operations team, this role will help support, maintain and develop Virgin Media’s HR & Payroll systems. Working closely with the Lead Consultant, you will define problem statements and customer requirements, whilst also managing complex customer queries and data issues.
Working with the Head of Legal – Virgin Media Business (VMB), you will pro-actively business partner our B2B function providing relevant commercial legal advice and guidance. This may include advice in connection with terms and conditions relating to VMB products and propositions, commercial bid management, sales and marketing, contract negotiation, claims disputes and other VMB related product and service agreements.
As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results by producing a local strategic plan ensuring all opportunities for growth are identified and maximised; by developing and guiding your team to ensure engagement, cooperation and team spirit, and by delivering and maintaining the highest possible retail operations standards.
This role has a core sales focus to exceed the store performance plan by developing and motivating the store sales team, leading from the front and providing the highest professional standards of competency, drive and determination.
This job role is to contribute to campaigns, plans and work streams to deliver a customer base of 5.5 million customers that is less susceptible to downspin through products tiers and churn from the brand. Using currently available and future customer insight, measurement, customer rewards and excellent customer communications the team will develop a series of communication programmes to halt the churn and downspin of customers within the base.

Whilst Managing wholesale partners in order to achieve both commercial and product related objectives.
