About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity to join Virgin Media Business (VMB) as a Senior Strategy Manager. Within this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our Wholesale Commercial Marketing team, by way of utilising market insight to explore and develop business strategies and growth opportunities in line with our wider Wholesale business objectives.

As our Senior Strategy Manager, we will ask you to work alongside the Commercial, Sales and Digital teams within Wholesale to input into strategic planning activities, shape and evaluate strategic scenarios and align the business behind the strategy and long-range plan. As our environment continues to evolve, you will also support the growth of the team by means of identifying and responding to industry structural changes, evolving business models, competitive threats, technology and product landscapes, market and partnering opportunities, as well as customer behaviour.
The must haves
Experience of working in a similar capacity within Strategy, with a demonstrable insight into new products and services as well as market trends in the Telecommunications sector.
Confidence liaising with all levels of seniority, excellent stakeholder management skills and an approachable, collaborative working style.
An ability to analyse, understand, and synthesise complex data and issues to translate into executable insight.
An aptitude for developing quantitative and qualitative aspects of investment opportunities and business cases and summarising these in senior level presentations.
Other stuff we’re looking for
Degree level education or equivalent (e.g., MBA) would be desirable, but not essential.
