The Data Estate team is on a mission to enhance the value of our data and to transform the culture at Virgin Media O2 towards data as a strategic asset.  Our teams are building state of the art data governance and privacy capabilities, optimising consents and opt-ins and exploiting data monetization opportunities anchored in a relationship with our customers of trust, transparency and control.

High-performing team-play is what we’re about.  We’re pushing each other outside of our comfort zones, leaning on each other as we learn and grow in a culture of openness, vulnerability, unconditional support and the ability to laugh together.

We are creating a brand new role – A Senior Product Manager for Consent and our consent management capabilities. You will own both the consent product experience and the platforms strategy driving at building better customer experiences while meeting our business outcomes.

As a Senior Consent Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

You will be fully accountable for the end to end development through to delivery of your portfolio to implement the product vision and strategy
•    Creating and managing data-led A/B or multivariate testing programmes to optimise our consented customers at every opportunity
•    Play the lead role in consent being treated as product offering – You will be full of ideas of how we can make our consent offering appealing to our customers, create new features, and be able to back it up using value and optimisation business cases
•    End to end lifecycle management of the consent products, and developing a segmented approach to the consent experience that helps customers control their consent in transparent way
•    Work collaboratively with marketing, strategy, delivery, legal, privacy, data and analytics teams as we develop our consent mastering and preference centre strategies to achieve business goals
•    Managing multiple stakeholder relationships with teams who are ‘downstream’ dependent on consent in a highly complex and changing landscape. You will also work directly with the consent platforms technical product owner for configuration and change control
•    Manage the governance of consent for a consistent and considered internal and external customer experience

•    Great communication and presentation skills, particularly for less technical audiences. Consent is a highly complex subject matter, and the ability to apply the right level of detail will be essential
•    Positive mindset for change, and being comfortable with constantly iterating and adapting the approach as we learn with the new consent product offerings
•    Collaborative and effective, a team player that gets the importance of culture and wants to win as a team
