Senior Paid Media Analyst

Hammersmith, London (though home working for the time being in line with government guidelines)

Working as part of the traffic acquisition team and reporting into the Head Paid Traffic Acquisition, we are looking for a confident and highly skilled Senior Paid Media Analyst to help drive growth across all of our products. You will be responsible for analysing, interpreting and presenting information to the Paid Media team and internal stakeholders to drive strategic decisions

Principle responsibilities

  •  Support the implementation of the overall paid media strategy by analyzing search landscapes and consumer data to find opportunities to drive incremental traffic from search engines.

  • Assist with the creation of in team performance reporting

  • Developing new visualization techniques to simplify trend analysis

  • Responsible for assembling paid media required to answer key questions around our strategy and successes across the product portfolio.

  • Create detailed and insightful analysis that will be used by the rest of the business to communicate performance trends

  • Analyze advertising campaigns to understand potential opportunities and how that can feed into the overall paid strategy.

Skills and competencies required

  •  You are a progressive, on-the-spot, creative problem solver who demonstrates both technical and analytical 

  • You are comfortable measuring, interpreting, and making real-time decisions based on large volumes of marketing performance data.

  • You are a proven performer with strong experience in digital marketing channels (e.g. SEO, PPC, Paid Social, and Display).

  • You are passionate about innovating the analysis of search; you don’t accept theories at face value, and enjoy testing to prove effectiveness of tactics.

  • You possess strong Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets skills as well as experience using SQL or similar programming languages, BI platforms and other database/analysis packages.

  • You have strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of different teams.

  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced and often changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed.

  • You are incredibly driven, agile, and always up for a challenge.

  • You have knowledge of and experience working with tools like Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Microsoft Ads, Facebook ads, DV360 & AWIN

  • Builds and develops the business and functional skills of more junior team members

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies  and its impact on analytics and user behaviour

  • Ability to clearly communicate actionable insights and complex findings

  • Proven experience of working across multiple disciplines with competing priorities
