About the role

As the Senior Insight Analyst you’ll support the data, reporting and analysis of sales journey performance, prospect touchpoints, channel effectiveness - contributing to revenue generation and cost savings. You will ensure Consumer Sales has an in-depth understanding of Virgin Media’s prospect behaviour and resultant next best actions.

Here at Virgin Media O2 we are supercharging the UK and you'll take ownership of driving our growth through data, analytics, insight & action. The ‘Senior Insight Analyst’ works across all of our Sales channels (Online, Contact Centre, Retail, Field Sales, Third Party) to enable, through data, the best buying experience for our Prospects and to drive continued growth for VM02. You’ll have the opportunity to with new & emerging technology helping to drive both digital transformation as well as the success of our more traditional customer touchpoints.

You'll take a lead on spot amazing opportunities by using SQL to create reporting, complete analysis, produce insight using data visualisation tools, especially Qlik Sense to deliver the insight to a non-technical audience (key stakeholders). Aswell as the delivery of BAU and ADHOC reporting to monitor prospect performance along with the development of reports and dashboards to enable self-serve analytics

The must haves:

  • Demonstratable experience in a hands-on analytical role within a large organisation
  • Proven technical background in data analytics
  • Significant experience with programming languages, particularly SQL
  • Proficient in the use of data visualisation tools, especially Qlik Sense
  • Experience working on Aginity work bench to query data stored in Netezza
