We are undergoing a widespread transformation to improve our digital capability, and want data to be at its core. As such, we are adding significant resource to our data and analytics teams over the course of 2021 and beyond.
On this basis, we are looking for a specialist analytics recruiter to join the team.
You’ll be here to help us deliver a ‘best in class’ talent acquisition solution, cultivating in demand, hard-to-find skill sets sitting predominantly within data science and advanced analytics.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be hiring a lot of people. As such you’ll spend a lot of time using LinkedIn and other tools to headhunt, source, screen and engage active and passive talent
Work to specific briefs to build talent pipelines for hard-to-find, in demand skillsets
Manage the candidate experience through the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to post-offer candidate care
Manage different priorities, often during periods of high workload volume and with tight deadlines
Work with internal teams on the creation of content for social media channels and Virgin Media careers site to encourage relevant candidate applications
Write and produce job advertisements to be shared on our careers site and social channels
Engage with third parties (e.g. training consultancies, recruitment agencies, social media partners) when necessary
Work with internal teams to process offer paperwork and ensure all compliance checks (e.g. right-to-work, proof of address) are completed in an expedient manner
What we’re looking for
Experience of end-to-end recruiting, from sourcing to post-offer care
Experience of technical sourcing in and around: data; data science; advanced analytics; machine learning and data engineering/modelling
An individual who can demonstrate that they can build long-lasting, personable relationships and networks with professionals in these fields
Experienced in working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Demonstrable experience of successfully sourcing passive talent
Experience in building and engaging talent pipelines for critical, hard-to-find positions
