About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity to join Virgin Media as a Regional Construction Coordinator! Within this role, work off our internal dashboard (Morpheus) to support the teams and contract partners within our build division.
Your key focus will be to ensure that projects are delivered within their agreed timescales; updating, maintaining and communicating to all parties throughout the process. As our ‘go to person’ for all things coordination, you’ll be responsible for monitoring relevant mailboxes and systems, assigning tasks to the teams or individuals that would look after them best.
At times, things don’t go to plan! This is where you come in… You’ll make sure that all teams are completing their jobs within the correct timescales and chasing when they don’t. With this, comes the need for excellent working relationships between yourself, our external and internal customers, partners and suppliers. Not only this, but you’ll be updating and communicating various reports that are produced from Morpheus to our Construction teams and the wider business.
Who we are

We're working hard to achieve bold ambitions, to help us better represent the diverse communities we serve across the UK. As an equal opportunities employer, we support and encourage you, to be your authentic self throughout your application journey.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Evidenced examples of basic knowledge within communications
- Able to evidence where you have built strong relationships with internal / external partners (success stories, job roles etc)
- Proven experience of prioritising own workload to ensure that individual and team targets are achieved
The other stuff we're looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Ability to learn new systems and a determination to meet deadlines
- Resilient and able to work consistently in a changing environment
- Well organised and able to work to deadlines
- Ability to work under own initiative and take ownership of issues and solutions
What's in it for you?
We know that benefits mean so much more than the 'stuff' we can give you, so we offer a wide range of support, rewards and tools - all focused on helping you to prioritise what really matters. All work and no play just isn't our style! We're already planning our future ways of working, for when life becomes a little more normal again. We're constantly evolving our approach to enable you to find a great work life balance.
Next steps
If we feel like a place where you can belong, we'd love to learn more about you. Once you've submitted an application the next steps of the process, if successful, are likely to include a video-based competency interview. When you apply, you'll be asked about any adjustments you might need to support the recruitment process. Let us know, and we'll be sure to discuss it with you. Thanks for your patience in the meantime and for showing an interest in joining the Virgin Media O2 family.
