About the role

The role of the Field Build Manager is to provide technical leadership & ensure field build standards, health and safety, compliance and quality regulation and standards are adhered to by the build partners against the relevant specifications and H&S guidelines.

You will be responsible for ongoing local authority and resident liaison with day-to-day stakeholder management, as well as ensuring the field build meets the agreed delivery plan and any risks & issues are reported back to the Delivery team.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

  • Ensure Field Build Standards, health & safety, compliance & quality regulation and standards are adhered to.
  • Responsible for ongoing local authority and resident liaison with day-to-day stakeholder management.
  • Forge strong relationships with Field Build Partners, Fixed Access Design teams & Fixed Access Deliver teams.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • A number of years’ experience working with Virgin MediaO2 or similar fix telecoms national legacy network’s major rollout programmes onsite with external civils / fibre build partners.
  • Proven background of working with local authorities and all relevant NRSWA/HAUC specifications.
  • Strong understanding of the permitting processes for street works both in external partners and local authorities
  • Demonstrate a strong background in all applications of Health & Safety and delivery compliance within the industry.

We'd also love you to bring;

  • PIA Accredited to work in Openreach infrastructure.
  • Ability to influence and build productive relationships with key programme stakeholders (both internal and external).
