About the role

Here at VMO2, we are in a time of expansion, and we are looking for a Senior Platform Architect to act as a technical authority, leading other Technical Architects and Engineers.

The Job

As a thought leader, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of our platform roadmap. Collaborating with the product team, you will set the direction for software development and platforms. This is a leadership role, requiring effective and engaging interpersonal skills to be able to understand business needs and to then create and craft appropriate architectures.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Built large scale SaaS platforms and integrated with other platforms as part of a digital ecosystem

• Leader in a comparable architecture role

• Solid grasp of data security and privacy

• Experience of implementing cloud solutions (GCP ideally but not crucial)

• Breadth of knowledge across multi development frameworks

The other stuff we're looking for

• Evidence of delivering a portfolio of projects, across the full lifecycle

• Skilled in designing solutions as well as buying in

• Understanding of enterprise methodologies and standards
