We have a great opportunity in our Digital Team for a Content Manager to join the Digital Design and Creative Team. You’ll be joining a group of seasoned creatives across design, copy and content, crafting best in class digital experiences that engage our customers and compel them to transact with us more often. You’ll be a part of a team delivering bold transformation across the full customer lifecycle.


We’ve recently moved our technology solution from an AEM publishing environment to a de-coupled headless environment using Strapi and Angular. This changes everything and means we can now look at content in a data / intent driven and modular way.

Tell me more, tell me more:
We’re seeking a Content Manager with experience of working in a headless content architecture, who can bring real-world experience in managing content in a flexible way, where it is de-coupled from the view of a ‘page’, and instead tagged to customer intent and segmentation. So, your role is to ensure all our content matches the varying needs of our users, and is tagged, organised and structured so we can automate it’s use in multiple environments. You’ll focus mainly on structure, meta-data and logic, to help ensure we match the right content to the right need. But you’ll also be perfectly happy rolling your sleeves up to get stuck in if we have some manual publishing to do.


You’ll be familiar with design systems and how they’re used including Storybook, our pattern library.


You’ll manage content in multiple environments, from sales to service, working with the product owners and trading teams to ensure our content is correctly managed, and optimised for the target customer. You’ll work with our designers and copywriters and help them structure their assets for ease of automation and rapid change. You’ll work with Strapi our CMS, and our product catalogue, making updates as required, and being responsible for the correct content showing to the correct people. You’ll be comfortable working with overnight or early releases to minimise disruption to customers.


And as someone with a flair for user-centric content, you’ll have a keen eye for simple language and layouts, making sure our content is delightful and easy to understand, whoever sees it.


You’ll work closely with the technical platform team to manage and run a world-class content environment.


Must haves:
•    Experience working in transformational digital environment with an understanding and experience of agile delivery
•    Personable, clear communication and presentation skills
•    Good proficiency in a headless publishing environment
•    Good proficiency in a pattern library tool such as Storybook
•    Understanding of analytics, using data to inform decisions
•    Good understanding of A/B and multi-variant testing
