About the role

As a Commercial Manager - Retention, Growth & Trading it's your job to take ownership of the full commercial management of spend within credits & adjustments. You’ll work closely with colleagues in finance and the operation to build forecasts and deliver against targets.

Crafting and delivering key insights you will play a crucial role in helping the business to ensure spend stays within budget. Owning the credits & adjustments policy you’ll work with revenue assurance to ensure regulatory compliance as well as commercial management of the consumer credits & adjustments profit & loss and delivering reporting of all spend.

We would love for you to bring an aptitude for reporting and data where you will look at ways of manipulating data and identifying new problems areas that need resolving.

The must haves:

  • Demonstratable analytical skills, able to identify trends, opportunities & risks and drive business decisions through insight
  • A background of working in a commercial setting within a matrix organisation with an understanding of budget & forecasting processes
  • Examples of where you have delivered results and drove initiatives in a complex, fast paced and rapidly changing trading environment
  • You’ll have examples to draw upon of experience of presenting to senior stakeholders

Other stuff we're looking for:

  • The ability to exercise judgement and make timely, sound decisions on complex and broad topics
  • Proven experience taking responsibility and ownership: constructive handling conflicting priorities under pressure and maintaining a professional and positive manner
