About the role

We have several new and exciting opportunities to join Virgin Media Business as an Account Manager. Within this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our Wholesale team, by means of providing top-tier insight when it comes to our portfolio of products and services and driving sales activity with our Business-to-Business (B2B) clients.

As our environment continues to evolve, you will also support the growth of the team by means of increasing revenues from both existing dedicated named customers as well as potential prospects, consistently working towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

As an Account Manager, you can expect to take a lead in achieving sales and revenue targets and key objectives in line with the wider Wholesale strategy. Shaping the future of revenue growth opportunities is also key, carried out by utilising relevant sales and forecasting methodologies, as well as in the provision of accurate reporting and Management Information as required. On a daily basis you’ll be tasked with the consistent delivery of your individual Key Performance Indicators and fostering and improving levels of your own product knowledge.

The must have’s

  • Experience of working in a similar capacity within a B2B environment, responsible for overseeing multiple accounts and driving profitable solutions for clients.

  • A solid history of building meaningful, collaborative stakeholder relationships, across all levels of seniority – we want to see your keenness to engage great team play with a wide range of people!

  • A good level of understanding when it comes to sales techniques, sales cycles and forecast / pipeline management.

  • An aptitude for meeting and exceeding targets, a strong work ethic and the passion and energy to go above and beyond!

Other stuff we’re looking for

  • A demonstrable background in understanding and highlighting the unique selling points of a product portfolio, as well as relevant processes, pricing structures and systems.
