When we’re hiring, we use a behavioural framework made up of the skills and traits people need to be successful at Virgin Media. Each role’s different so for every position, we work out which of the 12 behaviours are most important. When we’re interviewing for a role, we assess people against the behaviours we’ve identified.
If we’re meeting face to face, we’ll already have some information about you from your telephone interview and your personality assessment. We’ll use this information alongside the framework and ask you a range of competency-based questions.
These are designed to help us in understanding how your skills and experience match the role you’ve applied for. There’s a certain technique to answering competency-based questions. If you’ve not done an interview like this before, it’s worth reading up on them and practising a bit. Don’t be nervous, be prepared and bring your best self. We can’t wait to meet you!
