Now is a great time for you to join Virgin Media as a Senior Social Marketing Lead as part of the Digital marketing & Sponsorship/ partnerships team you will be responsible in leading the end to end social strategy for Virgin Media working within a number of internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Job Purpose

Your responsibility will be to lead and manage the award winning social media team in continuing to build and implement the social media strategy working with key stakeholders across the business including brand and marketing, acquisition, customer marketing, sales, corporate affairs and customer care.

Key accountabilities

To lead the end to end strategy and implementation of Virgin Media’s social strategy.

Development of the end to end social media strategy including:

*

Working with our creative and media agencies, media owners and internal stakeholders’ to continue to build on the existing holistic strategy.
*

Understanding the business and commercial strategy and platform and consumer behaviour to ensure our strategy is fit for purpose

Responsible for the delivery of social campaigns to support the wider TTL marketing campaign and sponsorships including:

*

Input into integrated cross channel TTL and sponsorship campaign briefs to ensure understanding and clear role for social to support the campaign
*

Development of media and creative plan working with external agencies to compliment and build on cross channel media plan
*

Responsibility for integrating the creative with the online experience (landing page) and SEO
*

Ongoing analysis and optimisation

Lead the day to day execution of the social engagement strategy including:

Management of social agency partner to create BAU content and Newsroom reactive content
*

Management of the BAU social media budget and targeting
*

Responsibility for social outreach programme
*

Working with stakeholders across the business to understand and prioritise content needs
*

Development and delivery of regular and robust social reporting across the business
*

Generating demonstrable ROI from Virgin Media’s social media channels

Responsible for social reporting and optimisation

Commercially focused with demonstrated success in achieving brand and business KPIs.

Ability to influence perceptions and drive positive relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Demonstrated success in leading project teams and individuals to achieve successful outcomes.

You will have extensive experience in a social marketing role with excellent track record of briefing and managing creative agencies to deliver on successful campaigns.

Strong media experience - developing successful communities, planning and delivering campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
*

Strong analytical skills.
*

Creative thinker with great attention to detail and strong creative judgement.
*

You will have strong communication and presentation skills.
*

The ability to succeed in a fast-moving business environment.
