People Business Partner - Transformation (12 month FTC)

This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media as a People Business Partner for a period of 12 months. You will provide both the strategic and operational HR interface with the business, driving people engagement, leading and supporting the people work-streams within our Lightning Division
This role will involve you partnering with business stakeholders, Senior PBPs and the Head of People to understand and determine the appropriate people interventions that support business transformation strategy, driving transformation deliverables to full implementation. Your duties will therefore be wide ranging, but ultimately you will be responsible for:
* Supports leaders and managers facilitating the delivery of organisational projects and divisional people initiatives, including cyclical HR activity such as pay review
* Helps to drive improvements in business performance through the introducing a behavioural capability framework that sets out behavioural expectations to provide a transparent and accessible way for our people to understand the core behaviours required to perform.
* And crucially, behaviours that are targeted by both Level & Role.
* To utilise experience in both ER and Change projects to help deliver on transformational projects into various lines of business, which includes a review of variable pay and reward, shift and operating hours, organisational design and development and to travel to different Centres for implementation and overall stakeholder management .
* Demonstrating commitment to a strong relationship with our people through our leaders and Voice forums aligning to our Employee Relations strategy.
* Supports transformational activity through strong change management approach ensuring the way that People change is delivered, is consistent with our brand values and cultural principles.
Everyone in our People Team has a proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines. If you join us as a People Business Partner we would want you to have:
* Previous experience of delivering a proactive HR service in a fast paced, progressive HR environment.
* Sound understanding of People policies and procedures, best practice and current thinking regarding effective and commercially sound employment practises.
* Previous experience of managing significant change and transformation projects, ideally in relation to shift review and operating hours
* Highly skilled at building relationships with key business partners
* Strong communication with a proven track record of being able to influence and negotiate at all levels.
* Strong facilitation and consultancy skills; able to consult on a range of relatively complex People issues with a proven ability to deliver against a range of conflicting demands.
* Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills
