Two start dates available: 6th August & 28th August 2018

This is a Full Time vacancy working 37.5 hours per week on a rotational shift pattern. Weekend work will be part of this working pattern. The centre is open 7 days a week from 8am - 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 6 pm on Saturdays, and 9am - 5pm on Sundays. Shift allowances are payable when working after 8pm and on Sundays.

The role

This role is based in one of our leading open plan contact centre offices. We have around 400 people on site meaning that you’ll soon pick up on the buzzing atmosphere for yourself - it’s full of energy and tons of healthy competition. The role itself involves taking inbound calls from potential customers and it will be down to you to showcase what Virgin Media can offer them.

The key to your success won’t come down to your technical know-how, it will be the care and attention taken to fact find and understand what the customer really wants. We’ve got a lot to offer, from our home phone and mobile phone packages, right through to our superfast broadband and big bundle TV packages. We believe in getting to know our customers, and selling them the right digital products to help enrich their lives.

About you

Our expectations are high - so what will you need to succeed? Sales experience would be ideal, but more importantly you’ll have all of the required qualities that will make you into a great sales person. A great way with people with an excellent phone manner, coupled with a natural curiosity and interest in people is super important. You’ll be polite, friendly, and have a positive approach to solving their problems. Excellent listening skills are a must, and of course a passion for the Virgin brand.

With a monthly sales target to smash, you’ll be comfortable working in a target-driven environment. Did we mention that you’re commission earnings will be uncapped, which will prove further motivation for you to go above and beyond for your customers. Finally, a professional can do attitude is essential for you to succeed in this ever changing environment.

Your training

A fantastic tried and tested 6 week induction will welcome you to Virgin Media. We’ll give you 4 weeks full classroom training on our products and services, systems, and selling techniques and that’s just the beginning. You will then spend a further 2 weeks in our Graduate bay putting into action all that you’ve learnt so far. It doesn’t stop there though, once you are in your role you will receive ongoing coaching and one to one development; it really is a supportive environment.
