The Technology and Innovation unit operates across both Virgin Media and our parent company Liberty Global across Europe and we are seeking a Jeopardy Management Operative to join our team based in Liverpool as we continue to grow our product offering and customer base.

What is the job?
The Jeopardy Management Operative will work in our Core Business Unit and is accountable for the management and communication of all incidents and problems within the Virgin Media that impacts our customers. You will identify and take appropriate actions to improve the Network Fault Management processes and procedures as necessary. You will endeavour to minimise customer calls and ensure that all relevant parties are aware of outages in a timely manner by using a range of tools.
To do this you will support resolve groups to drive fixes and customer expectations, work to agreed SLA’s, manage ticket requests and liaise with appropriate third parties.

Are you right for the role?
To be a success in this role we are looking for someone with at least some of the following experience:
- Knowledge of internet/broadband technologies and products to be able to diagnose issues and trends in incoming call patterns
- Understanding of company systems (ICOMs, CDFE, Cardie, Red Tools)
- Communication skills to produce timely, accurate and informative on-line reports.
- Organisation skills: able to prioritise and amend plans as necessary
- Collates and analyses information for senior management via reports and impromptu face to face -meetings.
- Working knowledge of all customer and fault management systems.
- Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
