As we enter one of the most exciting times in our history we are seeking a Senior Capital Planning Manager to join the Business Planning Team as we continue to expand our network across the UK.

What is the job?
You will be a key member of the Business Planning team within our Core Network & Operations function responsible for the creation of the Long Range Plan & Budget, consolidating input from across the group.
You will build and drive scaling investments across the group through the established governance process and have pan-European responsibility by operating a centralised model for planning services across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany etc.
You will be responsible for monthly budget planning process, performance vs. budget reviews, risks, challenges and opportunities as well as be the Key Contact for Supply Chain & Finance to manage the movement of equipment around the network and driving procurement opportunities with Vendors.
Finally create reports, update and manage stakeholders accordingly.

Are you right for the role?
* Expert understanding of budget management, including the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and building of LRP’s, budgets and re-forecasting to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
* Analysis and presentations of vendor proposals, articulating impact on the budget and the plan.
* Familiar with business proposals, including methods and techniques for preparing and presenting business cases
* Experienced operator with previous IT/Telecoms network finance planning & budgeting experience ideally gained within a large commercial environment
* Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO9001, ISO27001, NGN224 as well as ITIL, Lean methodologies.
* Strong record of people management in a technical environment, including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Experience of project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation
* A foreign language would be desirable
