We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud/Devops Engineer to join our WiFi team in Hemel Hempstead! In this role you’ll automate and streamline our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. You’ll also troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments, ensuring we are following best practice and designing secure maintainable solutions.

We’re looking for someone who loves delivering quality software into production. You’ll know software development, but really love designing production environments that work brilliantly. You’ll love to automate, make things work and get things done, and although you know your way around the entire stack, you just prefer DevOps!

Day to day work will include (but not be limited to!):
*Designing automated deployment processes, and how we do monitoring and alerting
*Maintaining & optimising databases, ensuring DR is slick and tested
*Improving our continuous deployment process, getting changes rolled out faster and with confidence.
*Tuning our systems, getting auto-scaling working like a dream
*Leading, coaching and growing our DevOps practice by bridging development, Operations and Test.

Skills required for this role are:

*CI/CD (Jenkins, Go, etc), config management (chef, puppet), git
*Excellent scripting skills
*At least one of python, perl, ruby, etc
*Familiarity with running production cloud deployments (AWS, Google Cloud)
*Knowledge in security
*Familiarity with Docker
