Digital Insight & Targeting Analyst (Optimisation)

This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media as a Digital Insight and Targeting Analyst. Reporting into the Digital Optimisation Lead this role will play a vital part in driving a data-driven decision-making culture within Virgin Media, by enabling the optimisation and transformation of our Digital touchpoints by delivering robust and rigorous A/B testing of optimisations and relevant, persuasive personalised campaigns.

This role will be based in our amazing newly refurbished Eagle Court offices in Birmingham.

Principle Responsibilities:

* Act as an analytical owner and gate-keeper for optimisations by upholding testing standards for A/B and multi-variate testing of optimisations, including validation of test ideas, PIE scoring, impact on testing roadmap, test design, test execution, test analysis, deep dives where necessary, and benefits estimation in line with various commercial KPIs
* Execute and govern optimisation tests and personalisation campaigns via Adobe Target premium and Adobe Audience Manager end to end - from campaign design to evaluation and benefits estimation.
* Act as business owner of the VM digital targeting platforms - maximising the value of the tools, and ensuring we continually improve them and expand capabilities to add more value to the business
* Proactive analysis of digital journey data to identify areas for optimisation and/or personalisation
* Working collaboratively with UX colleagues to support developing solutions that will optimise the experience - either for all users or specific audiences

Required key skills (functional / technical):

* Analytical and technical expertise in setting up and analysing controlled tests and personalisation campaigns
* Ability to take data and turn it into insight - and recommendations for action
* Intimately familiar with a broad range of analytical approaches in their specialist area and the application in a business context
* Ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high pressure, sometimes regulated, environment.
* Relationship-building skills - and ability to gain influence with key stakeholders in order to drive data-driven decisions.
* Innovative thinking - ability to think around an issue and solve problems.

Required qualifications/experience:

* Degree in a numerical subject preferred
* Experienced in use of the Adobe Marketing Cloud, especially Adobe Target Premium (essential) and Adobe Audience Manager (preferred)
* Experience of Adobe Analytics and Data Workbench is beneficial
* Extremely proficient in Excel
* Experience in a similar role, with a track record delivering robust testing with a commercial application
