To help tell our story we’re hiring an Internal Communications Manager - Support to connect our Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs Teams with the Virgin Media strategy, purpose and values. Focusing on collaborating with our CFO, Deputy CFO, Corporate Affairs Director, General Counsel and their leadership teams, you’ll design and deliver internal communications strategies and plans across the entire Support division.
You’ll actively partner business stakeholders to :

* Understand and champion the strategies for Finance, Legal and Corporate Affairs, and how these support Virgin Media’s overarching strategic objectives.
* Create thorough internal communications strategies for each support area, aligned to their departmental strategies.
* Promote senior leadership visibility in all Support departments.
* Plan, create, manage and execute a BAU communications agenda for each team - typically including email updates, briefing calls, live events.
* Provide expert counsel on departmental change programmes, leadership announcements and other ad-hoc communication requirements.
* Work closely with our employee representative body, Voice, to champion our employees’ voice both with stakeholders and in communications.
* Promote the work of Support across Virgin Media, by contracting with the Content & Campaigns Centre of Excellence to create engaging and exciting campaigns across a range of channels.

* Contract with the Events and Creative Services Centre of Excellence to deliver team events, leading on concept, content and stakeholder management.
Everyone in our Communications Team has a creative approach with the ability to work under pressure and to short timescales. To join us as an Internal Communications Manager - Support we would need you to have:

* Internal Communications management experience, with proven and demonstrable experience partnering with key business areas.
* Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and communication skills, at all levels within the business - underpinned by the ability to work collaboratively to get the job done.
* The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, working under pressure and sometimes to short timescales.
* Experience using SharePoint (or similar content management system) and other online communication platforms; updating intranets, posting communications to social media sites.
* Ability to use analytical skills to drive innovation.
* Awareness of new technology and trends within the internal communications sector.

* Budget management experience.
