Desk Account Development Executive

An exciting opportunity to join one of our dynamic desk based sales teams here at Virgin Media, working within our Public Sector division with our public sector customers! Utilising your exceptional account management skills and proactive sales activity, your role will be to profitably retain, develop and grow a defined portfolio of existing Public Sector customer accounts against aggressive market competition, maximising the Virgin Media Business story.

You will develop effective, telephone and email based relationships with customers, demonstrating your knowledge of their business and their decision making process, and ensuring full delivery of the defined contact strategy for each account. Your challenge is the retention of this customer base against aggressive market competition, maximising the Virgin Media Business story and becoming a digital ally of your customer to drive incumbency and penetration.

So what are we looking for?

* The ideal candidate will have previous Sales Support / Sales experience, within the Telecommunications industry.
* A positive can do attitude.
* Target driven with the passion and energy to succeed.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team and interface with virtual teams across the country.
* Must have an ability to develop relationships internally with other teams and externally with customers.
* Attention to detail and ability to record information clearly and concisely.
* A strong commitment to succeeding, delivering results to the satisfaction of the customer.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are also key
