We have a brand new opportunity for a Travel and Expenses Manager to join our office in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join and have a real impact in the business with the following purpose:

* Implementation of a Travel auditing and business support desk.
* Drive travel cost reduction through cost effective travel booking and challenging business travel activities.
* Ensure business expense claims are audited and claimed in line with policy.
* Managing use of the Corporate card programme and relevant processes.
* Supporting business education in Travel and Expenses policies and processes.
* Setting and monitoring key metrics and providing reporting.
Your duties within this area will include:
* Implement a travel desk to drive cost reduction and policy compliance.
* Challenging business booking behavior.
* Supporting the business to obtain cost effective travel deals.
* Monitoring travel thresholds.
* Overseeing and supporting the offshore SSC expenses auditing function.
* Ensuring all none compliant spend is identified, challenged and correctly reported.
* Overseeing the use of the corporate card programme.
* Ensuring corporate card spend is compliant and processes are stringent.
* Drive opportunities so strengthen processes and controls.
* Delivering business training to drive improvements to policy compliance.
The successful candidate in this role will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail. If you join us as in this role we would be looking for the following:
* Previous experience in travel is required.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing teams.
* Good working knowledge MS Office applications with intermediate / advanced Excel skills
* A good understanding of audit requirements and key controls.
* Ability to create and interpret KPI data.
* Confidence to challenge in a constructive manner.
* Proven analytical approach to problem solving and establishing route causes
* Demonstrate organisational skills in a fast paced environment
* Self driven with a desire to develop new skills
* Able to confidently work on own initiative
* Possesses an inquisitive mind, keen to identify and suggest opportunities for improvements
* Proven track record with dealing with change in roles and responsibilities
