Early Careers Coordinator 6 month FTC

You're embarking on joining our people team at Virgin Media!

The Early Careers Specialist forms part of the Early Careers Team which manages apprenticeships, interns and graduate programmes. The team consists of centralised subject matter experts, who support our wider people team and business leaders in the achievement of our business and people strategy. This role specifically supports all our Early Careers pipelines.
Your duties will be wide ranging, but ultimately you will be responsible for:

* Support our attraction campaign by coordinating events and school/university visits, posting programme roles onto jobs boards and managing candidate queries and data;
* Work with our 3rd party supplier to provide coordination support for our annual recruitment activity, by providing effective planning and delivery of our Assessment Centres;
* Act as a key contact for day to day scheme stakeholder, graduate, intern and apprentice queries;
* Coordinate in-life activity within our Early Careers Programmes including induction, placement management and training and development;
* To provide support for research and internal data analysis, and create PowerPoint presentations for the business using this data to give strategic insights;
* Any other talent team support, e.g. booking internal/external venue for meetings and events and managing payment processes.
Everyone in our people team has a proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines. If you join us as a early careers coordinator we would want you to have:

* Excellent planning and organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
* A proactive, positive, can do attitude and a willingness to learn and get involved;
* A flexible approach and ability to deal with change and ambiguity at times, as well as the ability to multi-task and juggle different projects;
* Strong written communication skills;
* Confident use of Excel and PowerPoint.
* Previous experience in a People/T&D and/or Resourcing role.
