Senior Finance Business Partner


This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media as a Senior Finance Business Partner You will act as a true business partner to the Support division in optimising performance, ensuring that appropriate short and long term objectives are set and achieved and will work closely with several teams across the business, representing Support Finance and engaging in both day-to-day and more strategic discussions.

Your duties will be wide ranging, but ultimately you will be responsible for:

* End to end ownership of Support P&L & BS
* Consolidation of annual budgets, monthly re-forecasts and actuals including Weekly O&Rs
* Robust and detailed interpretation of financial analysis to enable business areas to make key decisions and achieve targets. Identifies actions to drive opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Challenge business assumptions in forecasting and planning, using analysis and post-implementation review learnings
* Prepare ad hoc analysis as required by the Executive Committee, Finance Leadership Team and Liberty Global Team
* Tight management of the weekly risks and opportunities to ensure P&L outlooks are of the best possible quality and provide an accurate view of quarterly performance
* Oversee the process and preparation of the month end/Forecast/Budget/LRP packs for the Finance and EC leadership teams with input and help from the Finance Graduate
