Roles in Product & Commercial have end to end responsibility for the commercial and operational performance of our products; plus their competitive positioning, delivery against consumer needs and future development roadmap.

As such, these roles lead product development and management activities across the full product lifecycle - development, launch, in-life management, performance review, retirement and/or evolution.

Role Purpose
* This person will be responsible for planning roadmap of Virgin Media’s leading Commercial propositions and services across the Consumer division
* Co-ordinating; facilitating and influencing VM cable 8 quarter CVP roadmap for UK
* Aligning timelines across CVP elements of product enablers (product/ T&I organisations), journey enablers (CJD) commercial and expression (marketing & brand).
* Working collaboratively to ensure alignment to LG Group CVP planning and central deliverables
* This role requires a continuous focus on internal deliverables across the business; external market conditions and communication with multiple channels, in order to influence cross-functional stakeholder groups to shape and deliver propositions effectively to customers

Key Accountabilities
* Facilitates development and ensure clear communication of Virgin Media’s plan across the consumer business.
* Particular focus on ensuring that the plan incorporates the latest product roadmaps and influencing / prioritising deliverables & timelines
* Work closing with the strategy and in-life parts of CVP team and wider Commercial team to shape the planning of customer value propositions in their design and commercial analysis phases
* Acts as a key liaison to the business on Consumer plan and across Liberty Global
* Liaise with CJD Delivery to ensure efficient transition of plan to execution phase (<2 month)

* Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating effectively with the front line up to Director level
* Exposure to Senior Management
* Empathetic, approachable, and fair in dealings with colleagues at all levels - demonstrates a strong team mentality and able to build and maintain open and honest communication at all levels
* Strong commercial acumen and a knowledge base of consumer products/services and KPIs e.g. ARPU
* Analytical skills, able to identify trends & market opportunities/challenges and drive business decisions against through this insight
* Adept at stepping outside the status quo with bold and original ideas that create growth
* Ability to exercise judgement to make timely and sound decisions regarding highly complex and broad scope issues as they relate to both people and the business
* A detailed understanding of the Pay TV/Telco/Mobile industry and key issues affecting our business
* Experience of working in commercial, marketing and/or proposition management, preferable within the Pay TV/Telco/Mobile industry
