Senior Cloud and Security Product Manager

Our Senior Product Manager - launches great Cloud and Security products and sector specific product propositions that help Virgin Media Business win new customers and grow its business in SoHo, SME, Enterprise, Public Sector and Partner markets. They identify market opportunities and define the product vision and strategy that complement our customer’s portfolio and contribute to VMB long range plan.

In a rapidly changing digital world our business customers and partners need a strong portfolio of quickly evolving products and services, for internet, software defined networks, mobile, cloud, collaboration, security and more, which in turn underpins Virgin Media Business’ growth plans. Product Management is at the centre of developing this vision, through defining marketing opportunity and customer requirements, and using this insight to define and execute product vision and strategy.
Our Senior Product Manager - Cloud and Security will:
* Understand customer needs, market trends, and technology opportunities and gather product requirements for product/portfolio and relevant adjacent markets
* Develop new products and enhance existing products
* Develop strategic partners to underpin, support or accelerate product growth plans
* Engage closely with the IT, operations, architecture, transformation and project teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
* Work closely with channel marketing and sales teams to develop successful product proposition campaigns and channel/sales enablement to grow the product and portfolio of services
* With a first-class 'my business' mentality - work with finance and other stakeholders to build and maintain develop clear understanding of product P&L and develop and execute plans to optimise financial performance of in-life products or gain support for new investment opportunities
* Act as evangelist for product and portfolio across the business and with customers and other key market stakeholders gaining buying-in and support for product strategy

So what are we looking for?
* Demonstrable achievement in a product management, product marketing, product development, strategy or pricing role ideally from within IT/Telecoms B2B market and delivering against challenging objectives across complex environments
* A seasoned business partner that has energy and drive to influence and impact on a strategic level
* The ideal person would be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a virtual & specialist team of geographically dispersed people, and demonstrate entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
* Strong relationship building and management skills with the ability to influence and impact cross functional teams to ensure high quality product delivery and sales enablement
* Post graduate marketing diploma CIM or equivalent experience
* Experience delivering measureable results (through sales, marketing or product campaigns) in B2B ICT market whilst assimilating, understanding and contributing to successful projects
