What three words would you use to describe Virgin Media?

Fast, exciting and loud!

What inspires you to work at your best every day?

Knowing that you are really adding value with the work you are doing. Be it ensuring we are accounting accurately in Management Accounts, challenging operations to find cost reductions in Commercial Finance, or providing the latest analysis assisting the Executive Committee in making their business decisions in Group FP&A.

What’s been your best moment so far?

Winning my first graduate award, it was amazing to know that my hard work had been recognised by my team.

One thing you’ve learnt during your time at Virgin Media?

How important it is to share ideas and ask for help. Don't be afraid to ask!

Would you recommend Virgin Media’s Grad scheme to others and why?

Yes definitely. The scheme gives you the opportunity to view so many different areas of finance, you get to have a say in your rotations and during each role you have full responsibility and really make a difference in the business. Alongside all of this there is a first class support system available, helping you get to grips with the working world and multiple training and development courses to support your day to day job.

If you could give one piece of advice to people thinking to applying to our graduate scheme what would it be?

Don’t try and second guess exactly what the recruiters are looking for, if you be yourself and make it clear what makes you tick, you can’t go far wrong!

Thanks Rosemary, good luck in your final year!
